Since papa's mother "Wa" has found “pork” in most of the cafe hotel menu, we decided not to eat breakfast at the hotel café. We only requested boiled eggs, butter & jam and have it take away. We decided to have breakfast at a Muslim shop or nasi padang once our supir arrived. On the 3rd day we use Pak Aris, a Muslim supir. Same charges apply as Ary’s which is RP300K per day. (RM117 for whole day)
Once Pak Aris arrived, he brought us to a nasi padang restaurant. Since no roti canai or nasi lemak can be found here, we have no choice but to eat nasi padang for breakfast. Mama took nasi putih, tempe goreng, tauhu goreng & air teh botol. My bill was only RP5000 which is RM1.95..hmmm if only the café in office charge me this amt for lunch..
After breakfast, we proceed to Kuta beach. Here, mama bought some necklaces while being massage by an old urut lady. The nenek’s urutan was very relaxing & effective it clears all my stress & tiredness. I paid her RP20K(RM7.80) as requested without bargaining.
Next, we proceed to Sanur Beach. The beach was very quiet & not many tourists here. For those who love quiet vacation, bolehlah stay sini. Enjoying the view, go spa most of the time & jln2 tepi pantai. But for me, I still love Kuta area more, if I wanted a kampong area, make as well I go to Pangkor aje..
We spent only half an hour in Sanur as not much to see here & proceed to Bedugul. Before we reached Bedugul, we saw few ritual ceremonies by the local Hindu people at their Puras or Temple. Along the way to Bedugul, we also viewed beautiful scenery of the carpet of rice terrace.
