Anniversary in Bali - Day 1

To celebrate our 10 years marriage anniversary, mama & papa planned a trip to Bali Island, Indonesia. At first it was just a 2 person trip, however papa’s parent & uncle/aunt cik ali & cik zizah wanted to tag along. So, at last it became a family group of 6 person trip to Bali. Nevertheless, it is still a honeymoon vacation for us infact better since we have familiar faces accompanying us to a foreign place.
Our flight to Bali is at 4.40pm via AirAsia newest plane Airbus 300. The journey took 3 hours full & to kill the time papa bought nasi lemak pak Nasser & western sandwich for mama in the flight. Since the fare is low, Airasia’s food was sure pricey with RM7 for a small portion of nasi lemak & RM6 for 2 pcs bread plus RM4 for mineral water. Since the day we depart is the 1st day Msian Airport implemented the new liquid ruling, we didn’t have any mineral water from home as always.
We reached Ngurah Rai International airport, Bali at 7.40pm. It was already black dark in Bali. Once we passed the immigration counter to the exit door, our transport to Karthi hotel has already waiting with “Amran” signage. The Airport to our hotel took us around 10-15minutes journey. After check in, everyone was already tired. Wa brought rendang with nasi impit, while Cik Zizah brought dried sambal ikan bilis so we had dinner in hotel room. Once finished dinner, mama & papa get out to sniff Bali’s air & went to K-Mart which is just opposite our hotel to buy mineral water & slippers. However, mama did not waste any time & immediately done some shopping by grabbing two scenery painting at a nearby shop…Then we went back to hotel, pray Magrib & Isha’ Jama’ & rest in hotel room watching Indon channels.

These are the pics taken in Singapore. We went to Spore on the 27th Apr till 1st May 07.
For this short trip only mama, papa, atuk & wa going. The boys cannot follow since there’s not enough corum to buat the group passport as this is considered an adhoc trip plan. Mama & papa wanted to stamp our new international passport & atuk n wa immediately suggested Spore. So, after only a few days, we are already in the train heading our way to Spore.
Reached Woodlands Station at 8.10am & headed straight to Cik Lala’s house in Bkt Panjang. Get ourselves clean &were then being served breakfast. Cik Lala with the assistance of Liza has prepared a tasty Mee Soup & popiah goreng. Around 11am, we went to cik Ana’s house at Bkt Gombak by Nor’s car & Boy’s gfriend car. As usual it will be our place to stay during our trip to Spore. Met Nenek & also Farhana’s four adorable children. 
This time, since there are only 4 of us, we explored more. Immediately on the 1st day we go jln2 to Sultan Gate to buy house deco items, glasses etc & to Joo Chiat for Chinese seramic with Cik Lala & Cik Imah. Met Cik Ani somewhere near Geylang & had murtabak besar at a mamak restaurant. Later, all of us were ushered to VIVO-the latest talkabout shopping mall. Mama bought a trendy white watch there.
The next morning we tried apom telur at an Indian shop near Cik Ana’s house. Quite different & a must try. Later in the afternoon, Cik Rawi & his wife, the other Cik Ana took us to Sim Lim for electrical items & gadgets. It is actually similar with our own Low Yat Plaza at BB. Atuk wanted to find a DVD & we’re surveying MP4 for Ariff but both decided not to buy takut it will be a hassle incase got problem later. We also went to Cik Rawi’s house in Bedok Resevoir & had nasi beriani for dinner. Aiyoo…all sedap2lah & no diet is to be adhered at Spore… 
On the last day, after being served the delicous laksa by Cik Ana & cucur roti by Liza, mama & papa went to Bugis Street. We wanted to go by ourselves via MRT but Cik Ana took us there by cab. Later we departed with Cik Ana who has plans with her ladyfriends to jalan2 & buy accessories. Mama & papa explored Bugis Street ourselves & bought more souvenirs there. We also found cute Spore Tshirts for the broods. We went back to Bkt Gombak by MRT & pack our bags since we’ll be leaving Spore that night at 10.10pm. Unfortunately the train delayed 6.5hours & we reached KL at 3.00pm instead of 7.20am.  However, the Singapore vacation was such an enjoyable & also full & fun..We’re having such a good time here but at the same time need to be back home & meet the boys…papa & mama miss all of u so much boys..

Pics taken during Ariff & Aiman trip to visit their dentist, Dr Sathya...After checking, Ariff proceed with one of his teeth taken out but Aiman managed to escape  ..According to Dr Sathya, Aiman's goyang teeth will cabut by it's own since it is the baby's teeth or some call it gigi susu....Danial was also following his brothers & was present to see his brother's teeth cabut procedure.....

Cherating Family Trip 14-17th March 2007 - Part 3 (Temerloh -KL)

Check out from Cherating at 11.00am & head off to Temerloh. Stops few times since BMW Makngah meragam . Exit Chenor & bawak rombongan jalan dalam yg bengkang bengkok like ular dipalu.  . Reach mama's kg at 2.00pm sharp. Tired & hungry. Wan with the help of bibik & auntie tie have prepared gulai tempoyak ikan patin, sambal ulam tempoyak, rendang ayam, pucuk ubi masak lemak & goreng ikan patin favourite papa & the boys. There were also pulut & puding jagung mama's favourite. Hmm...such a good lunch. Anyway, it was such a HOT HOT day & the rombongan was given natural sauna at kg. . We left wan's house at 6.00pm & stop at Teluk Ira to buy ikan talapia sungai...
The fishmonger will sleep happily that day since all of us bought quite a lot. As for our family, we have bought around RM40 worth of talapia & ikan patin.
Stop few times during the journey back to KL & reached KL around 9.00pm. There goes our Cherating-Trengganu-Tloh trip & sure will plan another trip again soon

Cherating Family Trip 14-17th March 2007 - Part 2 (Terengganu)

On the second day, we went to Terengganu & head for Pasar Payang at K.T.
However, we left home only at 4.30pm & once we reached K.T, the pasar has closed. However we still managed to get the dried keropok & other foods there. Pak Lang's brother meet us there & brought us to Pantai Batu Buruk & we have our dinner at Air Buah Pior at Losong.

Cherating Family Trip 14-17th March 2007 - Part I (Banglo TM)

Pics are taken during our big family trip with atuk & wa together with all papa's sisters & family to Cherating, Pahang. Stayed at TM Bungalow in Cherating. Quite spacious & affordable for RM60 per nite. Stayed there for 4days & 3 nites. Will update more stories soon..for now, enjoy the pics..

Visit Muzium Negara Day
|

After watching the movie "Night At the Museum" at cinema recently, the boys excitedly request to visit the museum. Previously we were never keen to bring them to the museum thinking that they will not enjoy & appreciate it. So today at 11am we siap2 & without breakfast, we go straight to the museum,
Reach there at 11.45 & I tell u, it was damn hot at that time.... Before entering the museum, we snaps some pictures outside. As usual the 1st place to snap picture is the "KTM 1st locomotive train", outside the Museum.
As we were posing at the locomotive, Mama told the boys that when mama is still small, Wan always bring mama & siblings to the museum. We went to museum 2 weeks once or atleast once a month. Since mama's house which is at the Bukit Bangsar KTM quarters is just nearby we will just WALK to the museum. Everytime before we have this trip, Wan will prepare some foods & drinks as the "Bekal" & we will go out in the morning & walk from our house to the museum. Sometimes our friends from the KTM neighbourhood will join us after they get the consent from their parents lah. Each time after we finish the museum tour, we will walk further up to the "Tugu Negara" , Monumen Perdana & other places nearby & finally will stop at the Lake Garden for a picnic & eat the bekal happily. It was such a great & happy moments. Oh My...thinking of the journey now makes me feel exhausted & tired. Nowadays, each time when I passed by that area, I know now it was not near, it's kinda far actually. No wonder Wan is healthy & still slim last time although have given birth to 7 children.  ..Hmmm I need some exercising to do lah..

Rombongan En Dollah dari Bandar Tun Razak ke Putrajaya

All of us which include atuk & wa, mama long & family, mak lang & family & our family went to Putrajaya on 25th Feb 07. Atuk wanted to pray at the nice Masjid Putrajaya & the kids wanted to see the lampu..All of papa's family ada & we enjoy the trip...sayang makngah, pakngah, anis & alessa could'nt join us..it'll be great & merrier..

Makcik..makcik..Masak Ape Arini?

Today for breakfast we ate the leftover donuts from yesterday's feast. Ada Donut mini, strawberry, donut with frosting & all those mini donuts with custard filling with variety flavours .
For lunch, mama has succesfully make "Macaroni Bakar" a new recipe given by mama's friend "Auntie Zel" & the boys really love it. Ariff & danial have atleast 4 or 5 helpings & Aiman mat "slim slim" eat 3 times...Pecah record uu...Baked twice & the 1st one (in glass tray) was finished by lunch...The second one also has luak & was not finished since we go out to the boys atuk n wa's house in the evening & had "Yong Tow Foo Soup at Tmn Tenaga"...
hmm...since the responses are overwhelming..harus boleh try next time

Small Bday Celebration - Ariff Bday Part 2

Continuation to Ariff's bday, papa has actually bought a cake & Dunkin Donut plus a present which is a REMOTE CAR for Ariff. Although it was just a small Auldey Remote car but being Ariff, he was thrill & overjoy. Unfortunately someone has "menyentap" because during his bday, he did'nt get one. Malu lah Aiman....Aiman actually menangis & merajuk & his papa need to pujuk him & probably has set a deal...hmmmmphhh....
p/s: Hmm...bday boy is so happy & sebok with the new remote car given. Well Papa is an expert in "membodek" department..
